North Indian food restaurant, Bangalore

After visiting IIM Bangalore with Ashwani and his friends, and spending some time with Sukriti (drinking some coffee, shopping, eating some pani puri - very very good!!), we went to a restaurant situated in a mall.
As 4 people out of 6 were vegetarian, we had veg food only, and it was really good! Spicier than what I have eaten so far, nice experience!

Flag hoisting in Ashwani's residence!
They had some problems to unfold the flag ;)

Some school we can see from "my" room!

Ashwani, Bangalore

Ashwani NEVER switches off his phone or even lets it in another room! He even cannot sleep without it!! ...And my mom thought I was overusing my phone ;D

The guys looking at the rain, Bangalore

Heavy rain, Bangalore

Some time after we went back from the bar, it suddenly began to rain A LOT!! There were several electricity disconnections! From the balcony we could suddenly witness all the city lights switching off... Impressive and frightening at the same time, because there were still cars and scooters driving under the rain, I guess accidents can happen even faster with such a weather.
You can hear how heavy the rain was in the video and you can see it a little thanks to the lights ;)
After the rain, in other words some hours later, street dogs began to fight. Clearly not a good moment to go out!!

Sunny decided that he was the one qualified to choose the drinks... Here you can see him reading carefully the menu ;)

KFC experience in Bangalore

Same as previous pic, but with me insead of Anup :)

Same as p

First time in KFC!

Yes, that might sound weird to some people but I had to come to India to have lunch (well it was 4 pm) in a KFC! That was actually cool! Maybe a lil too fried and oily food ;)

Exporting my mess to India :D

Laxman's colleague, Sameer, picked me up at the airport in Mumbai and took me to his place so that I could organize and keep only the necessary stuffs for my trip in South India! To do that, I had no choice: I had to invade completely his living room :D It took me 2 hours to get ready!
Fortunately he didn't see it, he was sleeping O;-)
Then, he took me back to the airport and offered me some breakfast there. Will definitely invite him sowhere when back in Mumbai with Laxman!

Exporting cookies to India!

As Ashwani and his roomates accepted to welcome me in Bangalore for several days, I decided to make some cookies for them before leaving France (sables) with different flavours: ginger, cinnamon, brown sugar, chocolate, grapes and coconut! And apparently it was appreciated!! Good good! O:) So it was worth it, evem if it took a lot of space in my bag :D

My hotel...

... when there is no electricity! Looks nice and romantic, doesn't it? ;)

There were candles everywhere!

In a big mall near Mumbai

We went there by train with Laxman and one of his friends ;)

Lesson learnt that day: don't jump out of a running train, go with the flow :D Hm, I jumped the first time and didn't fall, but apparently I was REALLY lucky!

And yes, here you can go out of the train before it stops because doors are not closed, practical, na? :P

After going to the Mumbadevi Temple, Mumbai

The name Mumbai comes from this Goddess name "Mumba", the city patron deity.

It was not easy to understand how this temple was organized. It's quite small with a central place and several little rooms dedicated to different deities...

Somewhere some building in Mumbai :D

A great restaurant in Kolaba, Mumbai

We went twice there! It's a really big place (at least 3 rooms) and it was really good (slightly better the first time!). That was the first time I spoke in Hindi (at least 2 sentences, whoa :D ) to people I do not know. I didn't really have the choice, Laxman told the waiter "She has something to tell you...", so the guy was waiting... ;) But after that he thought I could speak Hindi very well, so he did a LONG speach, and the only thing I understood was "Garam hai" talking about the dessert I ordered (delicious -yet a lil heavy- gulab jamun) :D

Marine Drive, Mumbai

Libanese restaurant

The first and last time I ate hummus in my whole life ;) Wasn't that bad, but definitely not my favorite dish! Let's focus on Indian dishes, there are enough different ones I guess :D

Every trip has a beginning, and I went to the Gateway of India on my first day there. I guess this pic was the best choice to start a blog! Enjoy it :)I'll try to update it as often as possible ;o)
